Hey Ms. McNamara,
I participated of the Phired Up program at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
I know you're busy and I don't want to take much of your time, but I think it's imperative that you know how influential your work is.
At the end of the first seminar on Curiosity, Generosity, Authenticity, and Vulnerability I went up to you to congratulate you on your speech. I think my delivery was rather weird so I thought that I should email you to actually explain myself.
I realize how difficult it must be to talk to college girls. Girls are so competitive, that their initial reaction when they see a confident pretty girl is to automatically hate her (at least that's what I've noticed). However, you gave your speeches and truly captured the audience with your honest passion, and at the end of the day every girl in the room wanted to be your best friend.
In my chapter at least, we can't stop talking about Phired Up, not only for recruitment purposes, but for inner chapter relationships. The Phired Up program reminded us of why we chose our chapter, and the importance of value based recruitment.
I wanted to thank you for your hard work and dedication towards helping us be the best version of ourselves, and our chapters. You're message inspires girls everywhere. College is such a complicated experience, and everyone gets lost sooner or later, thankfully we have organizations like Phired Up which helps us find ourselves through our organizations.
Thank you again for your words of wisdom, for reminding us that we matter, and giving values a priority. The world seems to get a little bit better with every conference you guys give.
